Blu, the mascot for scrumptious Blue Bunny ice cream, is good friends with the Easter Bunny. Like the Easter Bunny, Blu is a human cursed by witches into being an immortal rabbit. He approached Blue Bunny founder Fred Wells in the 1930’s about creating a mystical ice cream that would strengthen the human spirit through sweet creamy goodness. The rest is history! Behind the scenes Blu aids in the betterment of humankind while battling against the forces of supernatural darkness. This is how he met the Easter Bunny.
Unlike the Easter Bunny, Blu isn’t a Werehare. He is rabbit with a human mind and voice who can’t transmute into varying rabbit forms. However, when visiting the Easter Bunny at Easter City he gains the paranormal power to attain a bipedal humanoid rabbit form. This allows him more freedom of movement and a greater interaction with residents and visitors. Within Easter City there’s a Blue Bunny Ice Cream Shoppe. Blu mans the operation at least once a month throughout the year. Outside of the City he can attain the bipedal form anywhere on Earth only on Easter and Christmas by tapping into the supernatural Spirits of the seasons. This is a personal gift to Blu from Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny!
